Continuous Roll Out Floating Floor System
This continuous underlayment system reduces surface contact area to just 4% at 2 psi, while safely supporting loads of up to 1,450 psi. Made from 92% post-consumer recycled rubber, it qualifies for LEED® points and comes with an Environmental Protection Declaration (EPD), Health Product Declaration (HPD), and complies with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Standard Method v1.2 for indoor air quality and offgassing. Resistant to mold, bacteria, fungi, and water, it is suitable for a wide range of install conditions.
Quick to roll out and easy to install without adhesive, the underlayment can be used directly under gypsum, lightweight, and normal-weight concrete—no plywood formwork required. GenieMat FF is also used in dry-floor assemblies, such as beneath plywood subfloors or GenieBoard.

Yes. The GenieMat® FF is commonly installed in concrete and mass timber structures before the building envelope is closed. It will not promote mold or bacteria growth even when exposed to moisture during the construction phase. GenieMat FF supports high load ratings and can handle concentrated loads from furniture, equipment, or machinery without compromising acoustic isolation performance. For extreme point loads, Pliteq’s Engineering team can complete a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure uniform slab deflection and provide layout drawings.
The system is designed to seamlessly integrate with penetrations for pipes, ducts, and electrical conduits. The underlayment can be rolled out around these elements during installation, ensuring seamless integration with underfloor systems. GenieMat® FF Continuous Roll comes in 4ft wide rolls that can be cut with a sharp utility knife. GenieMat PMI12PF should be used for isolating the perimeter and all vertical penetrations, such as columns, pipes, conduit, etc. GenieMat Tape ST3 is used for taping all seams of the GenieMat FF and joints to the GenieMat PMI, creating a sealed ‘tub’ for the concrete to be poured.
